Located at the confluence of the Snake, Yakima and Columbia Rivers, Pasco, WA is ranked as one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the nation. Pasco’s economy is shaped by both its strong agricultural background and its proximity to the Hanford Nuclear Reservation and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Pasco is part of the Tri-Cities region (Pasco-Kennewick-Richland) in Washington state which has been ranked in the top 10 of high technology communities in the nation. Some of the more popular events that take place in Pasco include the Pasco Farmers’ Market, located in downtown Pasco, from May through October, and the Fiery Foods Festival held each September. Pasco’s Gesa Stadium hosts the Tri-City Dust Devils baseball and the TRAC facility hosts year-round events, including conventions, meetings, sporting events, and concerts.
